xhibition organizer Dyandra Promosindo is set to hold Travel Fest 2020 from March 27 to 29 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Central Jakarta.

As the name implies, the event will feature a festival-like travel exhibition, offering a full entertainment program combined with an exhibition ambience.

Called “It’s Time to See the World”, Travel Fest 2020 will involve 23 travel agents, 10 airlines, four national tourism boards, 10 adventure and travel equipment companies, 24 hotels, resorts, theme parks and tourist destinations and 14 food and beverage vendors.

In addition to offering airline tickets and travel and honeymoon packages, Travel Fest will provide pre-event activities and shows. The latter will include events called Mingle Night, Talk Show and Food Competition, among others.

Travel Fest project director Addy Damarwulan said in a statement that the idea was a result of discussion among several parties, including travel agents, non-travel agents, airlines and banks to provide for the needs of travelers.

“We hope the collaboration between all elements will allow Travel Fest 2020 to produce the best for all and become an annual event,” said Addy.

Travel Fest 2020 will be open to the public and will have an admission fee of Rp 25,000 (US$1.82) per person. (jes/kes)
