Aice Indonesia welcomes visitors for tourism-inspired factory tour

ce cream brand Aice Indonesia has opened a factory tour program for the public in its second factory, located in Mojokerto, East Java, allowing visitors to learn the ins and outs of ice cream production.

Aice Indonesia currently has two factories located in Cikarang, West Java, and Mojokerto. However, the factory tour is only available in the second location, where it highlights education and tourism.

According to a statement received by The Jakarta Post, the factory tour program started in October last year and has welcomed visitors from various cities, including Bandung, West Java, and Makassar, South Sulawesi.

During the program, Aice brings in visitors to learn about a brief history of ice cream, the main ingredients, as well as production technology. In one of the areas, visitors can create their own ice cream based on their personal preferences.

“Besides providing basic information about the ice cream industry, Aice invites everyone to see the raw materials, technology and other factors that make Aice able to produce quality products that can be enjoyed by many,” said Aice Group Holdings Pte Ltd brand manager Sylvana Zhong, adding that the program aimed to encourage the development of educational tourism in Indonesia.

The factory is said to be able to accommodate up to 100 people for each visit. (jes/kes)
