Providing test results that are said to be valid for 14 days, the service is available for ticket holders of Lion Air Group carriers who can purchase a rapid COVID-19 test voucher when buying their ticket.

Passengers who already have a ticket but did not get the chance to buy a voucher can show their booking code to the company’s sales channels — such as ticketing sales office, call centers, online travel agents, Lion Air’s website and Batik Air’s website — to purchase a test.

The first phase of the test will be conducted daily in four locations in Jakarta and Tangerang, Banten.

“As for the forthcoming steps, Lion Air Group’s rapid COVID-19 test service will be expanded to other cities, in ticketing sales offices and airports,” Lion Air Group corporate communication strategic Danang Mandala Prihantoro said in a statement.

The service is part of a collaboration with the Lion Air Medika clinic and is based on a recommendation by the COVID-19 special task force. (wir/wng)

• Lion Air Tower head office, Jl. Gajah Mada No. 7, North Petojo, Gambir subdistrict, Central Jakarta, from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Lion Air Group office, Jl. Kalimalang, Makassar subdistrict, East Jakarta from 3 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Lion Parcel head office, Jl. Kedoya Raya No. 55, Kebon Jeruk subdistrict, West Jakarta, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Lion Operation Center, Jl. Marsekal Surya Darma No. 44, Neglasari subdistrict in Tangerang, Banten, from 3 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
