manwana, the only resort on Moyo Island in Sumbawa regency, West Nusa Tenggara, has officially reopened to guests after closing temporarily due to the pandemic.
Following the reopening, the five-star resort is offering camping itineraries of three or five nights in the island’s wilderness, surrounded by the waters of the Flores Sea. Activities include a guided trip through the jungle and natural caves to discover Barry’s Fall, a cascading limestone waterfall deep within the tropical forest. Guests can also enjoy water adventures, such as snorkeling and diving
The resort boasts luxurious tents for guests, a dedicated spa tent, restaurants and a Sumbawa-style feast.
To reach the resort, guests can take a short flight from Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali to Sumbawa.
Founded in 1988, luxury hotel brand Aman has gradually been reopening its properties across the globe since May.
Amanjiwo, a five-star hotel with views of Borobudur Temple, was the first of its five properties to reopen in late June. (gis/kes)
