The rocket hit the stern of Namura Queen, which flies the flag of Panama, a Ukrainian shipping agent was quoted as saying. There was a fire on the ship but the situation is "under control," the agent added, according to Reuters.
Ukraine authorities said it was an attack by Russia, which launched a military invasion of Ukraine earlier this week, according to the news agency.
