Malang-based private weapons manufacturer Sari Bahari produces 16 types of aerial military weapons, including NATO-standard bombs.
rivate Indonesian weapons manufacturer PT Sari Bahari exported 500 P-100P practice bombs to Vietnam in August, bolstering the weapons manufacturing sector's confidence in breaking into the international market.
Sari Bahari president director Ricky Hendrik Egam said the company had received confirmation in April from the Vietnamese Air Force that it would purchase the 500 practice bombs.
“This export is a direct request from Vietnamese state-owned firm VAXUCO to PT Sari Bahari as the original equipment manufacturer [OEM] of the P-100P practice bombs,” Ricky said on Oct. 7.
“These bombs will be used for the Vietnamese Air Force’s routine fighter jet pilot training sessions to increase the capabilities of their MiG and Sukhoi pilots,” he added.
