housands of students from 25 Indonesian universities are gearing up to intern at state-owned enterprises (SOEs) across the country as a follow-up to an agreement inked earlier with the SOEs Ministry.
As reported by kompas.com, 2,732 university students from the 25 universities are registered for the first phase of the certified internship program under the cooperation of Forum Human Capital Indonesia (FHCI).
From the total number of students registered, 2,000 will be selected to intern at one of the 63 SOEs.

The program is designed to prepare university students for the workforce by providing practical experience.
The 25 private and public universities involved in the program are listed as follows:
1. Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB) vocational school
2. Widya Mandala Surabaya Secretary Academy
3. Parahyangan Catholic University
4. Bekasi Bina Insani Secretary and Management Academy
5. Indonesian Christian University (UKI) Foundation Banking Academy
6. Dharma Persada University
7. Padjajaran University
8. Jakarta State University
9. Trisakti University
10. Mercu Buana University
11. Nurul Fikri Intergrated Technology Academy
12. University of Indonesia (vocational training program)
13. Bina Nusantara
14. Telkom University
15. Riau University
16. Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB)
17. Stikes Widyagama Husada
18. Indonesian Christian University (UKI)
19. Brawijaya University
20. Surakarta Sebelas Maret University
21. Pamulang University
22. Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta
