Indonesian “Second Home” and  “Golden Visa”

In order to stimulate economic growth, the Indonesian government has launched the "Second Home" and "Golden Visa" programs for foreigners to increase investment in Indonesia and for people who plan to stay in Indonesia for a long time. Both allow long-term legal residency in Indonesia for those with high-return assets.

The second-home residency program is designed to encourage foreigners to invest by acquiring property at a certain price. It also provides a second-home limited-residency permit for extended periods of five or 10 years with a maximum extension of five years, as long as the validity period of the limited permit is not more than 10 years.

Meanwhile, the second-home permanent residency permit is valid for five years or unlimited after fulfilling certain requirements.
