Tentang Anak

Tentang Anak, or About Children, is a parenting ecosystem created to provide knowledge about pregnancy, childhood development and family financial planning. Partnering with the Health Ministry and National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN), it has been the fastest-growing parenting tech company in Indonesia since its inception in 2020.

Tentang Anak was founded by an Indonesian power couple: pediatrician Mesty Ariotedjo and Garri Juanda, who had more than a decade of experience in tech companies such as Tokopedia and Rakuten.

It was founded on a mission to provide everyone with easy access to information related to children’s growth and development, ensuring that every child can flourish. As 80 percent of brain development occurs in the first 1,000 days of life, Tentang Anak wants to play a role in advancing the country by helping parents raise intelligent and happy children.

With a network of over 30 experts in the field, it launched an application in December 2021 that serves as a one-stop platform for parents that offers nutritious recipes, activity guides for children, growth and development trackers, vaccination schedules, direct Q&A with experts and shopping features.

It was named as one of LinkedIn’s top start-ups in Indonesia in 2022. Tentang Anak has reached more than 28 million parents on various platforms to this date.
