WhiteCoat has set its target on entering at least two more markets in Asia, while also planning to explore funding opportunities to fuel its next phase of growth.
Singapore-based healthcare company WhiteCoat Global says it will acquire Good Doctor, a telemedicine platform in Indonesia.
The acquisition will enable the company to “create the region’s largest and most comprehensive digital healthcare group” that works with more than 130 insurers and 7,500 corporate partners.
WhiteCoat stated that it had secured new funding led by Raffles Family Office and would welcome new investors, namely MDI Ventures and the SoftBank Vision Fund, together with the acquisition of Good Doctor.
“This move not only strengthens our market presence in the largest economy in Southeast Asia but also underscores our commitment to deliver innovative, technology-driven care, and work towards enhancing healthcare access beyond insured members to the broader population,” WhiteCoat founder Bryan Koh said in a statement on Oct. 11.
WhiteCoat has set its target on entering at least two more markets in Asia, while also planning to explore funding opportunities to fuel its next phase of growth, which would also involve scaling its omnichannel services through the integration of GenAI capabilities.
