antika Indonesia Hotels and Resorts has entered a partnership with the Janto Group to establish a new Kampi Hotel in Gandaria, Jakarta.
“Give and take, including land and building, [the investment value] is around Rp 250 billion [US$16 million],” Janto Group CEO Jimmy Budhijanto told reporters on Friday.
He said Santika Indonesia Group’s owner, PT Grahawita Santika, a subsidiary of media conglomerate Kompas Gramedia, was chosen as a partner for two main reasons, namely the company's long-standing track record in the hotel industry and its consistent, sustainable performance over the past decades.

Jimmy added that the planned timeline for setting up the new hotel was two years. “At the latest, it should be completed by the beginning of the second quarter of 2027,” he said.
He also explained that the project for the new hotel, to be built on a 2,200-square-meter area, would involve six months of planning followed by one and a half years of construction.
At the same event, Armand Oetama, the corporate vice general manager of business development at Grahawita Santika, said Gandaria had been chosen as the location for its lively surroundings, with a diverse range of options for food and drink, lifestyle venues and retail, all aimed at attracting millennial and Gen Z consumers.
