wo information technology companies have announced a cooperation to provide a wider enterprise software solution for business partners and customers in Indonesia.
The collaboration between Tech Data Indonesia, a subsidiary of global IT solution distributor TD Synnex, and integrated IT infrastructure provider PT Sangfor Technologies Indonesia aims to support digital transformation acceleration in Indonesia in a time when more organizations require an IT system that is safe and measured and supports cloud-based services, both companies said in a joint press release on Thursday.
Tech Data Indonesia country general manager William Buyung said that the collaboration is an important step to strengthen its business partners ecosystem in Indonesia.
“Sangfor’s market-tested cloud and cyber security solutions complement our commitment in equipping our business partners with technology, insights and expertise to push real results for customers,” he said, as quoted in the press release.
“Coupling Tech Data’s enablement power and go-to market with Sangfor’s innovation will help our business partners to bring a solution that is safer, measured and reliable for Indonesian companies in this digital economy era.”
Meanwhile, Sangfor Technologies Indonesia country manager David Li said using the company’s cloud infrastructure, Sangfor could provide practical solution and strategic support to fulfil ever-evolving customers’ needs.
“The collaboration is expected to push digital innovation and ensure the safety, scalability and performance of organizations in Indonesia,” he said in the statement.
In the cooperation, Tech Data provides access for its customers to Sangfor’s enterprise-standard technology with support for comprehensive training and development programs.
Separately, the Communications and Digital Ministry pledged to accelerate national digital transformation program in 2026.
The ministry would focus its attention on utilizing built infrastructure for programs with direct impact to the society, with three pillars of Connectivity, Growth and Security, deputy minister Nezar Patria said on Jan. 28.
“The ministry has laid down strong infrastructure foundation and now it is time to move faster and bolder to execute the policies into real actions,” he said, as quoted by the ministry’s website komdigi.go.id.
“Digital infrastructure must be able to push for economic growth and improve human resources.”
