Several figures from various institutions have declined to be listed as official participants in the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar campaign team, including Ary Ginanjar Agustian, Hendri Satrio and Ridwan Dalimunthe.

These figures emphasized the neutrality principle in the 2024 presidential election as the reasoning behind their reluctance to have their names listed on the Anies-Muhaimin campaign team's list of supporters.

Businessman and educator Ary Ginanjar claimed he was surprised by the news concerning the Anies-Muhaimin campaign team appointing him as one of their spokespersons, detik.com reported.

Upon learning the news, Ary uploaded a post on his Instagram account to affirm his stance on the presidential election, including his neutrality and unwillingness to participate in practical politics.

Ary ended his clarification by expressing hopes for the public and other institutions not to mention his name and institution as participants in the Anies-Muhaimin campaign team in the future.

Aside from Ary, founder of Indonesian Public Opinion Research and Discussion Group (KedaiKOPI) survey institution Hendri "Hensat" Satrio refuted the news of his name being listed by the campaign team, saying that it might be another person with the same name.

"No, that is not me, because no one contacted me again about the inclusion of my name. It could have been another Hendri Satrio," Hensat told the media on Wednesday, as reported by detik.com.
