The selection committee for the new leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced the 20 candidates for commissioner who passed the profiling assessment held late last month, with a former minister and an incumbent commissioner among those who did not make it to the next stage of the process.
On Wednesday, committee chair Muhammad Yusuf Ateh announced the 20 advancing candidates out of the 40 who had taken the test.
The committee also announced 20 names still in the running to sit on the KPK’s supervisory council.
“The next stage, interviews and health check-ups, will be held on Sept. 17 and 18 for applicants to the KPK commissioner position and on Sept. 19 and 20 for the supervisory council candidates,” Yusuf said, as quoted by kompas.com.
