According to Bali Police, 226 foreign nationals were involved in criminal activities on the holiday island last year, a 16 percent increase from the previous year’s figure of 194.

Arrest of three Australians over fatal shooting highlights rising crime in Bali

Indonesian authorities have apprehended three foreign nationals for the alleged premeditated murder of an Australian man in Bali over the weekend, highlighting an emerging crime wave perpetrated by foreigners at the popular holiday destination.

Two of the suspects, identified only as 27-year-old TPM and 23-year-old C, were reportedly arrested in Singapore with assistance from Interpol. 

The third suspect, 37-year-old DFJ, was apprehended at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, as he attempted to board a flight to Singapore.
