n Indonesian Air Force flag officer Fajar “Red Wolf” Adriyanto was buried in his hometown Probolinggo city on Monday, one day after his fatal crash in Ciampea district, Bogor district, West Java, on Sunday.

The Indonesian Air Force chief of staff Air Chief Marshal Muhammad Tonny Harjono led a send off ceremony at about 6:24 a.m. at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta, rri.co.id reported on Monday.

Fajar’s body was then flown to Abdulrachman Saleh AFB in Malang, East Java, using a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft, which departed at 7 a.m. His body was then transported overland to Monyetan public cemetery in Ponorogo.

The coffin containing Fajar’s body arrived at 10:30 a.m., tribunnews.com reported.

The National Search and Rescue Agency deputy for facilities and infrastructure, Air Vice Marshal Widyargo Ikoputro, led a military burial ceremony. The ceremony ended at 11:50 a.m.
