Slank all set for 35th anniversary concert in late December

lank is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary with a concert on Dec. 23 at Bung Karno Stadium in Senayan, Central Jakarta.
Tickets for the concert are available online. According to the promoter’s website, tickets are divided into different categories, namely all-seating green, yellow and red (VIP). Also available are all-standing festival categories from A1 to B2.
The pre-sale ticket prices start from Rp 60,000 (US$4.18) for green area, while the normal prices start at Rp 75,000. As the time of writing, pre-sale tickets are still available, while VIP tickets were already fully booked.

The band of vocalist Kaka, drummer Bimbim, guitarists Abdee and Ridho and bassist Ivanka is said to use Indonesia Now as the concert's theme.
“[The theme] is from our new single [released on Aug. 5],” Bimbim told kompas.com. “This concert will be about the close relationship between humans and technology.”
Slank will perform popular tracks from the band’s 22 albums during the 1.5 hour-concert. “The concept will be a ‘big band’, which we’ve never done before,” said Bimbim. (wir/kes)
