SMS: Java Jazz Festival

Your comments on the organization of Java Jazz Festival and the benefit for the city from such a great cultural event I hope this was a learning experience for Indonesia, especially with regard to controlling security, so we will be able to manage a bigger event in the future such as the Soccer World Cup etc

The benefit of organizing the event includes the cultural exchange between local and foreign jazz fans. I hope it will boost tourism, which is important for the local economy.

I don't think it benefits Jakarta, except for its reputation. People might think that Jakarta is good and cares about musical events. That's it, nothing else.

Sam

Jakarta

I came to Indonesia from Thailand just to be part of the Java Jazz Festival. And I am not the only one. There are lots of foreign jazz fans. It has been fantastic!

Barbara

Jakarta

This event gives Indonesia a chance to promote Indonesian musicians and jazz singers to the international community, as well as to forge links between Indonesian jazz fans and their favorite international jazz musicians and singers.

Dedik Herry

Jakarta

At a time when the economic downturn is on everyone's minds, the Java Jazz Festival will be remembered as a real treat. People living in Greater Jakarta should be thankful for the opportunity to enjoy world-class performances by top jazz musicians and singers from across the globe.
