AKARTA: The Jakarta Blue baseball minor and major league teams maintained their winning form in the Wednesday's games at the Southeast Asia Youth Baseball and Softball Tournament (SEAYBST) in Jakarta.
Jakarta Blue, highly tipped to win the minor league competition, snatched its fourth win with a 5-4 defeat of Singapore, taking it to the top of the standings with an undefeated record. It previously beat Bangkok (14-2), Jakarta Silver (12-7) and Perth (8-4).
Manila, widely regarded as Jakarta Blue's toughest opponent, trails in second with three wins and no losses. The two teams meet Thursday.
