LEMAN, Yogyakarta: Sri Surya Widati, wife of incumbent Bantul Regent Idham Samawi, was leading preliminary counts with 60 percent of votes in Sunday's regency elections.

Yogyakarta province hosted three regency elections on Sunday, including Sleman and Gunungkidul regencies.

"We expect more ballot papers from the districts this evening," said Bantul General Elections Commission member, Nur Huri Musthofa. - JP
