Find some breathing space far enough from the madding crowd without going all the way to Papua at this leafy compound owned by noted ceramicist F. Widayanto (for a close-up look, it was featured in the July WEEKENDER's fashion spread). Take a pottery class or two, stroll through the lush grounds with the kids or feast on traditional Indonesian cuisine at its homey restaurant. It seems like Kuningan is ground zero for trendy bar-cum-restaurants, starting with Cork & Screw, then Loewy and now this cool and classy addition. That "e" stands for earth, signified by the impressive wood beams and tables, but it could also stand for elegant. Relaxed atmosphere, choice of seating indoors or on the comfortable sofas on the terrace, and an interesting menu spanning Asian, European and Mediterranean favorites (lots of vegetarian choices, too). Grab a table now before you have to get on the waiting list. And a 25-percent discount until July 25.
