I

refer to an article titled “Corrupt immigration officials extort foreign workers firms,” (the Post, Jan 17, p. 2).

The naughty immigration officials should be kicked out of their immigration jobs. They are not suitable to have such positions in the blossoming Indonesian economy.

Immigration bosses should firmly monitor and get rid off the bad elements. If the “habit” continues, Indonesia will not develop as fast as it should or could slide backwards.
