JAKARTA: Movie director and actress Marcella Zalianty dedicated the award she received at Piala Maya 2013 to her mother, veteran actress Tetty Liz Indriati, as a gift on Mother's Day.
'This is a gift for my mother, who brought me into this world,' she said as quoted by tempo.co.
Marcella's film, Malaikat Juga Tahu (The Angel Also Knows), in an omnibus, Rectoverso, was named Best Movie in an omnibus category at Piala Maya 2013.
She hoped the victory would make her mother proud as she always supported her.
'She's my number one because she's always there for me,' said the wife of racer Ananda Mikola.
