otor vehicle producer Royal Enfield has opened a new store in Jakarta, home to more than 15 million motorcycle drivers. The store, located on Jl. Sultan Iskandar Muda, Pondok Indah, in South Jakarta, was opened on June 16.
With the addition of the store, Royal Enfield now has 55 outlets in Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan. Since its products first became available in Indonesia, more than 3,000 motorcycle drivers in various regions have used its products. Many of them are also riding motorcycles on group weekend trips or marquee rides like tours across Indonesia.
Joe Ferry, the President Director of Indonesian automotive company PT Nusantara Batavia International, Royal Enfield’s distributor in Indonesia, said that the new store would organize various activities and initiatives involving a community of motorcycle users who were the store’s loyal customers.
“Our new store will bring Royal Enfield closer to our customers and communities. We are working on several programs that will bring them closer to Royal Enfield,” Royal Enfield Indonesia country manager Irvino Edwardly said.
