President Prabowo Subianto jetted off to Kuala Lumpur on Sunday as he intensified communications with world leaders amid international trade uncertainty stemming from the United States’ sweeping import tariffs.
President Prabowo Subianto in his recent visit to Malaysia promised to work together with the Malaysian government to solve problems surrounding migrant workers. The statement came shortly after a fatal shooting of Indonesian citizens in Selangor.
Among issues both leaders discussed while having a lunch in Kuala Lumpur were border issues, labor transfer, coordination on fisherfolk in conflicted areas along Malacca Strait and ASEAN Community Building, according to Anwar.
