On this occasion, Minister Airlangga expressed his gratitude for the United States' support regarding Indonesia's accession to become a member of the OECD. The meeting, held on the sidelines of the IPEF Ministerial Meetings, was full of warmth and aimed to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries, which is currently formed under the RI-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, one of which is through the IPEF partnership.
Charting a proactive path to recovery, a former finance minister, a prominent business representative and a high-ranking policymaker all agree that Indonesia must buttress domestic demand while keeping a lid on prices to emerge stronger from a worldwide crisis.
There are still potential economic opportunities during this crisis. One is the economic transformation from agriculture to the manufacturing sector through agroindustry. A second is increasing the participation of women in the labor force, and a third is a human capital improvement
