View all search resultsThe State Palace has downplayed typos and errors discovered in the Job Creation Law that was recently signed by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, calling them unsubstantial technical errors amid mounting protests highlighting the flawed legislation process for the controversial law.
The sworn-in ambassadors include Dindin Wahyudin as ambassador to Senegal, Cabo Verde, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone, Roem Kono as ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dewi Savitri Wahab as ambassador to Denmark and Lithuania, and Nana Yuliana as ambassador to Cuba, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica.
The State Palace has maintained that Indonesia will hold the 2020 regional elections on Dec. 9, amid mounting calls from various parties for the race to be postponed as the coronavirus pandemic shows no signs of letting up.
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo presided over a 75th Independence Day ceremony along with a handful of state officials and dignitaries at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday morning.
