View all search resultsThe Czech Republic's national stud farm made it onto the UNESCO world heritage list thanks to a unique landscape of flat, sandy soils, fields, pastures and forest where horses have been bred for at least five centuries, its director said on Wednesday.
Over the weekend, a flurry of new sites were added to UNESCO's World Heritage List, including Jaipur City in India; Writing-on-Stone, an ancient and sacred landscape for Indigenous peoples in Canada; and the Mounded Tombs of Ancient Japan.
