The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the quake struck at 1:06 a.m. Its epicenter was located in the sea south of Java, 89 kilometers southeast of Pacitan regency in East Java, at a depth of 58 kilometers.
Since its launch in January, the government’s free meals program has been plagued by a series of food safety incidents, with more than 13,000 students reported to have suffered food poisoning as of earlier this month.
