State-owned electricity company PLN has announced an official webpage that allows its customers to check the amount of compensation they’ve been promised for the hours-long power outage across West Java and Greater Jakarta on Aug. 4.
Groups of affected citizens have filed a lawsuit against PLN with the South Jakarta District Court, criticizing the firm for its substandard services and demanding that PLN provide compensation for the loss they suffered during the power outage.
