The pledge was meant to boost the growth of seven gas-reliant industrial sectors namely electricity production, chemicals, food, ceramics, steel, fertilizers and glass manufacturing, which collectively consume about 80 percent of Indonesia’s gas supply.
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has instructed his Cabinet ministers to make their best preparations in each ministry ahead of the Muslim festival of Idul Fitri, which falls on June 25, by ensuring supplies of essential goods, transportation infrastructure preparedness and proper security.
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is set to lead a limited Cabinet meeting on Thursday at the Presidential office to discuss national strategic projects and priority programs in Central Sulawesi and East Kalimantan as the government commitment to accelerating infrastructure development to boost economy.
