This year is especially significant as the iCIO Awards enters its 10th edition and will be held alongside another annual event, the Executive Leadership Forum (ELF) 2025.
As Indonesia moves along its path to becoming a global middle power by its centennial in 2045, it must not forget the key ingredient that will bind its aspirations into a cohesive whole: world-class intelligence capabilities.
While more expansive and forward-looking than Vision 2025, ASEAN's latest vision document still treads the well-worn path of consensus without an alternative mechanism for when consensus fails or the institutional reforms necessary for implementation and enforcement.
The winning essay will be published in both the print and online editions of The Jakarta Post and will be announced during the Cultural Night at the 51st IFTDO World Conference & Exhibition 2025.
