View all search resultsAs thousands of low-cost apartment residents have yet to pay rent as of today, Jakarta Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat has told them that, if they want to continue living in the apartments, they must pay the required fees.
Many Jakartans residing in low-cost apartments are apparently struggling to pay the rent, as data from the city’s Public Housing and Government Buildings Agency shows that the total arrears amount to Rp 32 billion (US$1.95 million).
