Route to State Palace blocked off for May Day rally, workers getting agitated
Tens of thousands of workers staging a rally in commemoration of International Labor Day, or May Day, on Monday, have so far only been able to voice their aspirations on Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat as the route to the State Palace is fenced off and fitted with barbed wire.

Security personnel prepare for May Day
About 17,000 security officers will be deployed to secure the commemoration of International Labor Day, or May Day, this coming Sunday, the same day when residents of Jakarta and its neighboring cities enjoy Car Free Day (CFD) on Jl. M.H. Thamrin and Jl. Sudirman.
