View all search resultsThe government has decided to offer a six-month extension to the current contractors of Tuban and Ogan Komering blocks, which were originally slated to see their contracts expire on Wednesday, as it is still waiting for state-owned energy giant Pertamina to submit new proposals to fully take over the two blocks.
The sharia subsidiary of state lender Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), BNI Syariah, has disbursed a loan of Rp 168 billion (US$12.62 million) to operators of the Jakarta-owned bus management company, PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta), to procure additional vehicles.
Only two of 19 oil and gas operators in Indonesia have fulfilled the terms of their contracts. However, the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Special Task Force (SKK Migas) will not act hastily to punish the operators who have not fully realized their commitments.
