Traffic congestion 60 percent worse in Tanah Abang: Study
The Jakarta administration’s policy to close Jl. Jatibaru Raya near Tanah Abang Market in Central Jakarta has made traffic congestion worse in the area. Congestion has increased by 60 percent in the past month, a police report revealed on Friday.

Jl. Siantar in Central Jakarta to be temporarily closed

Narrow lanes on Jl. Fatmawati to remain open during MRT construction
The busy street of Jl. Fatmawati will not be closed entirely for the next six months during the construction of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system starting Feb. 4, as 3-meter-wide spaces on both the right and left sides of the road will remain open, an executive has confirmed.
