The Indonesian Amputee Football Association has finished runner-up in its debut outing at the East Asia Qualifer, despite serious underfunding. It is now gearing up to head to the 2022 Amputee Soccer World Cup in Turkey – hopefully with the support of the government, generous donors and fans.
A number of high-profile players including Manchester United trio Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Axel Tuanzebe, as well as Chelsea full-back Reece James, have been targeted on social media in recent weeks.
