uring the Idul Fitri holiday, Ragunan Zoo in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta is among the destinations in the capital city that usually welcome a large number of visitors.

However, based on Gubernatorial Decree No. 63/2018, the zoo will be closed to the public on the first day of Idul Fitri.

“Therefore,we haven’t yet [specifically] mentioned the [closure] date,” Ketut said, adding that the peak visiting period was estimated to occur on June 8 and 9.

Ketut suggested that visitors prepare the JakCard issued by Bank DKI with enough balance to enter the zoo, "which allows them to avoid spending a long time waiting in line,” he said. (wir/kes)
