s the Idul Fitri holidays approach, national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia has decreased the ticket prices for its Jakarta-Pangkal pinang route.
The airline's branch manager in Pangkal Pinang in the Bangka Belitung Islands province, Solpa Puji Harsagi, told Antara on Tuesday that the move was a response to the issuance of Transportation Ministry Regulation No. 109/2019 on upper limit fare (TBA) alteration. Hence, the carrier's Jakarta-Pangkal Pinang ticket price is now Rp 1,216,300 (US$84), about 13 percent lower than the previous fare of Rp 1.4 million.
Meanwhile, for the Pangkal Pinang-Jakarta route, the flight is now priced at Rp 1,131,300. Previously it was Rp 1,315,000.

"Generally the decrease is about 15 percent, whereas the TBA is Rp 983,000," said Solpa.
The aforementioned prices already include a 10 percent value-added tax, airport tax and insurance. (kes)
