T Angkasa Pura Indonesia, which operates under the brand InJourney Airports, counted 155.9 million passengers in 2024, namely 118.03 million on domestic routes and 37.9 on international flights.
InJourney Airports president director Faik Fahmi attributed the growing passenger traffic to the government’s move to give 17 airports international status, including 16 operated by InJourney, since April last year.
“This is a 4-percent increase compared with the January-December period of 2023,” he said in a statement issued on Monday, as reported by Tempo.co.
Meanwhile, the firm recorded a 4 percent decline in aircraft movements from 1.21 million flights in 2023 to 1.16 million last year.
“The number of aircraft passengers at all InJourney’s airports represent 90 percent of the total number of aircraft passengers in Indonesia,” Faik Fahmi explained.
