Provincial Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Agency head Said Sudrajad Mazlan said that the suspension took place in March.
“We did not get any information about what caused the suspension but several ships trying to transport the fish were banned from any activities,” he said on Wednesday.
He suspects the issue is purely technical in nature and is related to a temporary policy being implemented in Hong Kong, without giving any explanation.
