The billionaire arrived with Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, amid reports that they had bonded over a joke about Artificial Intelligence, according to The Sun.
Grimes and Musk, who is the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, have reportedly been "quietly dating".
Earlier this year, a source told Page Six that "Elon was researching the idea of joking about Rococo Basilisk (a thought experiment about the potential risks involved in developing artificial intelligence), and when he saw Grimes had already joked about it, he reached out to her.
"Grimes said this was the first time in three years that anyone understood the joke. They were both poking fun at AI."

Grimes, 30, wore a seemingly Tesla-inspire choker to complement her black tulle skirt and silver corset, which she paired with platform boots. The 46-year-old South African-born entrepreneur, meanwhile, wore a white blazer and shirt paired with black trousers.
Also present at the ball was Musk's former girlfriend Amber Heard, who wore a red Carolina Herrera gown and gold crown.
The actress began dating Musk in 2016 following her divorce from Johnny Depp. The former couple were together for a year before splitting in August, but shortly after got back together before separating again in February. (liz/asw)
