Themed Fully Foodie Experience, the festival showcases a number of activities related to food and cooking, including a food bazaar, live-cooking demonstrations, food tasting and talk shows.
The Endeus Festival, run by food channel Endeus.tv, is being held until Sunday at Gandaria City shopping mall in South Jakarta.
In its first edition, the festival is partnering with food tenants, professional chefs and social media influencers.
In the festival’s launch ceremony, Endeus.tv CEO David Wayne Ika said the channel had been created based on the burgeoning trend of cooking at home.
“We have produced around 1,000 videos in our existence of one and a half years,” he said in a press conference on Friday.
Themed Fully Foodie Experience, the festival showcases a number of activities related to food and cooking, including a food bazaar, live-cooking demonstrations, food tasting and talk shows.
Among the food tenants present in the festival are the popular Lawless Burgerbar, Sang Pisang banana fritters, Eskimomo ice cream and Koepoe Koepoe spices and baking essentials.

The cooking demonstrations are set to feature legendary chef Sisca Soewitomo, young chef Yuda Bustara and YouTube personality Elisabeth Wang.
On Friday, Endeus.tv also launched an app that would allow users to get recipes based on whatever ingredients they have at home.
“For instance, users can input tempeh and flour on the app and it would provide all the recipes they can make with those two ingredients,” said David, adding that the app was available on iOS and Android.
Another new feature on the channel is Endeus Junior, providing recipes for babies from 6 months of age to school-age children.
On Sunday, the festival will present the final stage of the Home Chef Competition, which will see three home chefs compete for the grand prize of a kitchen renovation.
“We aim to be a meeting place for all people in the cooking industry,” said David. “Members of communities and chefs along with professionals in the industry are excited to share their stories and experiences.” (wng)
