“Hopefully, those who have watched the film would feel entertained and want to watch again,” she said.
Starring Iqbaal Ramadhan and Vanesha Prescila, Milea: Suara dari Dilan is the final installment of the Dilan trilogy.
The first movie, Dilan 1990 (2018), was released in 2018 and became the most-watched Indonesian film of the year with over 6.31 million tickets sold.
The sequel, Dilan 1991, was released one year later and it also became the most-watched film of the year with 5.25 million tickets sold.
Adapted from Pidi Baiq’s novels, the movies tell the story of high school sweethearts Dilan and Milea as they navigate their blossoming relationship. The character Dilan is considered memorable thanks to his penchant for cheesy words as he woos Milea. (jes/wng)
