arate athlete Ceyco Georgia Zefanya earned Indonesia a gold medal at the 14th Asian Karatedo Federation (AKF) Cadet Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Friday.

Ceyco won the gold medal in the women's +54 kilogram cadet kumite competition after beating Fuchita Suzuna of Japan 7-3 in the final, according a media release on Saturday.

Yousefisaran Mina of Iran and Tortikulbayeva Dinara of Kazakhstan won bronze.
