View all search resultsPublicly listed lender Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN) recorded total assets worth Rp 101.9 trillion (US$7.19 billion) in December 2018, or 7 percent year-on-year growth from Rp 95.5 trillion in 2017, following a merger with PT Bank Sumitomo Mitsui Indonesia.
The ambitious 35,000 megawatt (MW) electricity program kicked off in 2015, but has yet to contribute significantly to the electricity supply. Only 2,800 MW of the power plants in the program were in operation as of December.
Loans distributed through peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platforms reached Rp 20 trillion (US$1.42 billion) last year or 681.25 percent higher than the figure in 2017, which was recorded at Rp 2.56 trillion, according to the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
