View all search resultsIndonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo told Australia's parliament on Monday that he wanted to work with the traditional Pacific power to expand influence in the region in the face of China's stepped-up efforts to do the same.
By giving the speech, Jokowi would be the second Indonesian president to address Australia's parliament, following in the footsteps of former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who delivered a speech in front of Australian lawmakers in 2010.
