The aircraft's flight data recorder (FDR) showed that the plane's stick shaker was active prior to and during a flight from Denpasar to Jakarta the night before the accident. A stick shaker is a device that gives a pilot warning of an imminent stall.
"'If I'm not back on Nov. 11, 2018, you should still wear the wedding gown that I chose yesterday and wear pretty makeup. Ask for fresh white roses from Sheila [the wedding organizer] and take a nice photo. Send the photo to me.'"
Apart from the engine, the search team has also found other parts of the downed aircraft, such as tubes, batteries, a recorder and power supply. Diver teams have been dispatched to the location where they found the engine, in order to search for and retrieve more parts.
