View all search resultsPT PLN (Persero) and PT HDF Energy Indonesia (HDF Energy) inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for developing a robust hydrogen ecosystem in Indonesia. This significant agreement was formalized during the Indonesia Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 on Sept. 5, 2024, and witnessed by the Director of Energy Conservation, Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (Dirjen EBTKE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) of Indonesia.
Applying the three lenses framework to Indonesian culture shows that strong leadership and unified political is essential to devising its energy future, including whether to incorporate nuclear power into the national energy mix.
Because Indonesia's energy transition costs are higher than any group of countries can provide, to accelerate the energy transition, Indonesia needs a friendly, welcoming business environment where renewable projects can thrive.
