View all search resultsIndonesia raised another Rp 22 trillion (US$1.48 billion) on Tuesday from government bonds to fund the country’s fiscal deficit and the costly fight against the unfolding pandemic, with the central bank participating in the tender.
The government will raise its 2021 state budget deficit assumption to 5.2 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) to weather the uncertainties of the pandemic, which is expected to continue affecting the economy next year.
